Sranan Tongo
Etymology
Possibly from Malay Bagansiapiapi, which was an important fishing port of the then-Dutch East Indies in the 1920s and 1930s; reminiscent of bagasi (“luggage; stuff”) and yapiyapi (“monkey”).
