Named after William Lawrence Bragg and his father William Henry Bragg, who proposed the idea in 1913.

Bragg scattering (usually uncountable, plural Bragg scatterings)

  1. (physics) the diffraction phenomenon exhibited by a crystal bombarded with X-rays in such a way that each plane of the crystal lattice acts as a reflector.
