Etymology
From hexapla, from Ancient Greek ἑξαπλά (hexaplá), neuter plural of ἑξαπλοῦς (hexaploûs, “sixfold”), from ἑξα- (hexa-, “hexa-: six”) + -πλόος (-plóos, “-fold”), used as the title of such an edition by Origen.
