This provision makes permanent the PFML tax credit and makes three modifications. First, it expands the credit allowing employers to claim the credit for a portion of paid family leave (PFL) insurance premiums. PFL insurance is a newer offering that is primarily utilized by smaller businesses to offer paid leave benefits to their employees and is available in a growing number of states. Second, it makes the credit available in all states. Third, it lowers the minimum employee work requirement from 1-year to 6-months.

Following H. pylori eradiation in patients, intestinal-type epithelial cells do not readily revert because these intestinalized cells may be maintained by PFLs activated by the stimulation of H. pylori . [] For example, the Shh mutant mice have been shown to exhibit intestinal transformation of the gastric epithelium [87], which indicates that breaking the gastric-phenotype-related PFL Sox2-Shh changes the gastric phenotype.
