Reconstruction:Proto-Indo-European/kʷetwóres
Proto-Indo-European
Etymology
Considering PIE morpheme structure, *kʷetwor- has too many consonants to be a true primitive morpheme. Tentatively, the feminine stem could point to an elemental "four" of the shape **kʷet- or **kʷetu-.
