Reconstruction notes
The term *trēb- may have been a derivative of this term or a separate derivative of the same Proto-Indo-Euorpean root. De Vaan suggests that the Oscan stem *trēb- may have derived from the verb *treb- as the Oscan terms are more similar in meaning to the Umbrian verb.
