Yanwath
English
Etymology
Uncertain; from Middle English Euenewit (1150). Possibly Old Norse jafn (“even, level”) + viðr (“wood”), possibly a Scandinavianised form derived from the cognates Old English efn + wudu and thus a doublet of Evenwood.
