Zoanthacea
- (archaic, zoology) A taxonomic suborder within the order Actinaria – members of which are now generally in order Zoantharia, including Zoanthus and allied genera of marine polyps, which are permanently attached by their bases.
Usage notes
- Zoanthidae is now often placed in suborder Brachycnemina.
