beeldjeskoop
Dutch
Etymology
Traditionally considered a compound of beeldje + -s- + koop (stem of kopen (“to buy”)) (in which case it would be an exocentric compound, with an unusual head), but considered a univerbation of beeldjes + koop based on the slogan beeldjes te koop (“statuettes for sale”) by the WNT.[1]
Pronunciation
- IPA(key): /ˈbeːlt.jəsˌkoːp/
- Hyphenation: beeld‧jes‧koop

beeldjeskoop m (plural beeldjeskopen)
