Etymology

Cognate with Arabic دَرَّ (darra), Biblical Hebrew דְּרוֹר (dəror), Old South Arabian 𐩵𐩧𐩧 (drr, abundance, harvest) and Ugaritic 𐎄𐎗𐎗 (drr, to flow copiously). Also compare 𒂼𒅈𒄄 (andurārum).
