nekomimi (plural nekomimi or nekomimis)

1. (chiefly Japanese fiction) Cat ears.
3. (chiefly Japanese fiction, by extension) A fictional character who has cat ears on an otherwise human body, and possibly other feline characteristics such as a tail.
