planetrise (countable and uncountable, plural planetrises)

  1. (rare) The event in which two planets are in a position in their orbits that they're next to each other, and being on one's perspective the other planet will seem to rise in the sky.

Usage notes

This phenomenon has only been observed once (Kepler-36b and Kepler-36c) so it seems unlikely it'll actually be a well-known term.
