sustollo

Latin

Etymology

From sub- +‎ tollō. The lack of a past system is illogical, but tollō itself seems to be the culprit due to that verb's perfect being stolen by ferō.

Pronunciation

Verb

sustollō (present infinitive sustollere); third conjugation, no perfect or supine stems

  1. to raise or lift on high
  2. to build or erect
