The tag =* (also known as a crossbuck) is used to tell if there is a warning cross on a railway level crossing.
How to map
Use this tag on a node . The node should be the one common to both the highway and the railway.
railway=level_crossing- obligatory=yes/no- is there a warning cross?=yes- default value, no need to map this=no- there is no warning cross
