The tag shop= is used to map a shop that sells vehicle trailers and related parts, repair and rental services.

This tag is mainly used for businesses which sell utility trailers such as simple box trailers. See also the more common tag shop=caravan for shops which sell RVs (recreational vehicles) such as motorhomes, camper trailers, and caravans.

How to map

Set a node or draw as an area along the shop outline. Tag it with shop=. Add name using name=*.

Tags used in combination

Services tags

  • rental=trailer - used if the shop also rents trailers
  • repair=* - if the shop also repairs trailers and what type of repair services it offers
  • parts=* - for if it sells parts and what type of parts it sells. For instance parts=tyres can be used if it sells tyres.

  • trailer:rental - yes/no
  • trailer:repair - repairs trailers / yes/no
  • trailer:parts - trailer parts / yes/no
