  • February 6: Enrico Dandolo, doge of Venice, receives several crusaders into his city. The money of the crusaders soon runs out and they become indebted to the city.[1]
  • February 9: The crusaders will be sendt to the rebellious city of Zara to repay their debts to Venice.[1]
