- 1509-1535: Career of Johannes Faust, barely a Disciple of House Tytalus. Not very powerful, but impresses many Sleepers before falling to infernalism.[1]
- A group of Artificers infiltrates Horizon and begins experimenting with Gaia's Vortex. They are captured and assimilated into the Order of Hermes. The move is controversial, but raises morale.[2][3]
- The 14th meeting of the Order of Reason's Inner Circle, advancing the Time Table.[4][5]

- October 2: Jacques Cartier lands on a lush island in Canada. He calls it "Mont-Royal". In secret, a Gangrel antitribu and a mortal infernalist travel with his expedition and lay the foundations for the later city of Montreal.[6]
