Events

• Three girls in Bordeaux find a strange, red-haired boy, who tells them that he is a werewolf who made a pact with the devil. He describes how he transforms by donning a wolf skin and that his favourite meal is the flesh of young children. The Inquisition locates the boy and puts him on trial, but the judge instead sentences him to containment in a monastery.^[1]
