  • The Guardians of the Veil manage to corner and destroy the Nameless Hippolyte, who had drawn upon the forbidden works of Ashar Arif. The only thing that survives her is her clockwork brain, which becomes known as the Schäfer Movement.[1]
  • Polidori dies, allegedly by suicide. The archives of the Golden Thorn suggest an alchemical ritual involving a pandoran or promethean instead.[2]
