  • Inspired by the spirit of Manifest Destiny, numerous american Carthians come together in order to declare the New Carthian Nation of America, similar to the Camarilla of Rome. The plan fails thanks to numerous Kindred using the Underground Railroad to flee from Carthian domains, as well as internal strife within the Movement.[1]
  • California joins the American Union.[2]
  • The American army slaughters a group of Pomo in the Bloody Island massacre.[3]
  • Allen Pinkerton establishes the Pinkerton National Detective Agency in Chicago.[4]
  • The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is constructed in Mobile, Alabama.[5]
