• Lumberman's Arch is built at the site of the Great Caern in Vancouver.^[4]

• The Arcanum begins an annual journal, the Annual Proceedings of the Arcanum.^[5]
• By this year, the Chinese Republic has formed.^[6]

• 35 children in Ashcroft disappear over the course of the summer. Only five of their partial remains are ever recovered.^[7]
