Events

  • By this year, it becomes obvious that due to Wycoff's Hastings blast, all crops exposed to the secondary blast wave would no longer grow, or grew mutated. The area becomes known as the Blight.[1][2] Farmland five kilometres southwest of Worthington is among those that falls into disuse in the wake of the Blight.[3]
  • The United States invades Canada, ostensibly for its marginally healthier farmlands, but in essence because the US needs Canada's geographical and financial resources for the ongoing Aberrant War.[4] The invasion is done with the assistance of Quebec in exchange for its sovereignty.[5]
  • Federal intelligence agencies begin consolidating operations as they find themselves desperate for resources.[2][6]
