  • Members of what will become the Æsculapian Order help Viktor Raskolnikovich Renko and his family escape to India. Renko later becomes a doc himself.[1]
  • After refurbishing their newly-purchase monastery, adding an operating theatres and a research wing, Dr. Matthieu Zweidler opens the Montressor Clinic (named after his mentor) outside Basel, Switzerland.[2][3][4]
