  • A confidential economic report on the Federated States of America notes that statistics don't match reports: food and money seems to be disappearing. North America should be in much better financial shape than is evident.[1]
  • The New Plains Acting Council kicks out its authoritarian leader, Tadashi Shigeta, and repudiates most of his teachings as paranoid fantasies. His son Aaron takes over and leads the group without resorting to claims of mystical authority.[2]
  • The President first appears in the Pit, and rapidly takes over.[3]
