- Mark Antony arrives in Alexandria to investigate Cleopatra's loyalties and falls in love with her. She persuades him to have her sister Arsinoe killed; she dies on the steps of the temple of Artemis in Rome, blaspheming it.[1]
- The Loyalists kill the substitute Osiris whom the Taurans planned to insert into Cleopatra's court.[2] The Taurans publically disband after this setback.[3]
