  • 630 - 1100: Golden Age of Islam. Science and faith prosper together.[1] Taking advantage of Byzantium's enlightened atmosphere, Artisan guilds reestablish Ars Praeclarus.[2]
  • The Prophet Mohammed returns to Mecca with an army of 10,000 soldiers, and conquers the city.[3]
