- Unification of Slavic tribes of Novogrod, under the Scandinavian chief Rurik, Kinfolk to the Get of Fenris.[1]

- Cyril and Methodius, known as the apostles of the Slavs, arrive in Great Moravia. Their efforts win numerous Slavs over to christendom.[2]
866 CE
- The 1004th Year of Aries: A Grand Tribunal is held. The Tribunal orders that Hercilion must step down his position as court wizard to a baron before the next full moon. The position of serving a mundane ruler is beneath a Hermetic, and would unnecessarily entwine the Order in any of the baron's politics.[3]
