  • Emperor Otto fights the Hungarian horde to a standstill at the Battle of Lechfeld. The Magyars are driven into the Carpathian basin, where they permanently settle.[1]
  • Pope John XII becomes a thrall of the Earthbound Ala and begins to turn the Vatican into a "great brothel". Despite her best attempts, however, the demon gains no lasting influence over the Church.[2]
