- Vladimir I wins the throne of Russia with the help of the Varangians. Warders of Men appear in Kiev during this period.[1]
- A group of magi of House Tremere, lead by Goratrix and Tremere, convene in the Carpathians to consecrate the ground for their future prime chantry, Ceoris. During the ritual, one of the participating magi, Ponticulus, has to be killed.[2]
