Arundhati was a penanggal who posed as a pleasant girl to get into the good graces of potential victims.

Overview

Born to devout Muslim parents, Arundhati fell in with a group of witches as she grew older. Despite making a pact with the witches' patron, she did not meet the demon's requirements, consigning her to unlife as a penanggal.

Her last victims were a pregnant couple — K.D., the father, and Sheila D., the mother. The two had hired her as a housekeeper. Once hired, she ingratiated herself with Sheila until the woman gave birth to her daughter, Rebecca. A local obstetrician, a man named Heim, had grown concerned and warned the father to be wary. While Arundhati attacked the family and bit Sheila, Heim went after the penanggal's body.
