Baalim

The Baalim were predecessors to the Scelesti who were active during the Hellenistic period.[1] Outside of ancient settlements like Babylon, Baalim tended to operate alone, and rarely were they seen as any kind of pressing threat by Awakened society at large.[2]

Much like their successors, Baalim were known to invite Paradoxes into their spellwork so as to strengthen it.[1] Their Yantras typically invoked distorted symbols, with paradoxical logic and impossible geometry.[2]
