Black Monastery

The Black Monastery was a convention of Sabbat vampires in 1666 CE where many of the Sabbat Paths of Enlightenment were developed into their modern forms. 

The Monastery

The physical monastery where the convention took place was located in Basel, Switzerland on the Swiss border with both France and Germany. It was a former Augustine monastery similar to the Hospice of St. Bernard. The location served as the temporary headquarters for the nascent Sabbat sect at the time.[1]
