Blood Dross
Blood Dross is a type of Treasure made by House Balor with vampire blood.
Overview
The Masters of the Dance have discovered a way that vampires can provide them with an unusual type of Dark Glamour. Of course, drinking vampiric vitae usually floods a changeling with Banality but, under certain circumstances, it can actually give Glamour. By taking a few drops of blood from the Licks known as madmen (notably Malkavians) when they are acting on their madness or Toreadors while engaging in artistic pursuits, the Masters can create Blood Dross. The blood is stored in tiny vials made of crystalized sugar and then covered with a slightly harder shell to hold the liquid. Several beads can be stored together in a protective box for up to a month without losing potency. A bead must be consumed to gain the equivalent of a point of Glamour.
System
The Glamour gained from Blood Dross can be used to power any cantrip but unless it is a harmful or deceptive cantrip, one can only get a maximum of two successes on the roll. The side effect of using the Blood Dross is that it makes the consumer more favorably inclined to the vampire whose blood was consumed. (See Blood Bond)
