Colossus of Rhodes

The Colossus of Rhodes was one of the Wonders of the ancient world, part of the Web of Seven and a Promethean.

Overview

The progenitor of a Lineage of Created known as the Colossoi, the Colossus was immobile, and thus relied on its children to aid it in completing its Pilgrimage. As part of the Web of Seven, the Colossus was semi-regularly targeted by the Gentry, who sought to end the Great Bargain that the Web held up. As a matter of mercy and kindness, the Promethean protected any among the Lost who rested near it.

In addition to the Gentry, it was targeted by an alchemist by the name of Pamira of Bractia, who, along with her Kratistoi, sought to drain it of its life-essence in a plan to resurrect Alexander the Great.

Unfortunately, the Colossus was not particularly long-lived. It was felled by an earthquake mere decades after its construction. With its end came the end of the Web and the beginning of an age of terror for the Lost. It is unknown whether its children faded with it.
