Colossoi

The Colossoi are an extinct Lineage of Prometheans that were active from an unknown time after the construction of the Colossus of Rhodes in 280 BCE to its destruction in an earthquake in 226 BCE.

In contrast to other extinct Linages, such as the Amirani or the Hollow, next to nothing is known of the Colossoi.

Overview

Rather than being created by a mortal Alchemist, all Colossoi were the creations of their Progenitor, pulling themselves from the body of the Colossus as it manipulated its internal alchemy.

As the Colossus was incapable of moving, its children would, in addition to their own Pilgrimage, do what they could to further its own, bringing the Colossus Vitriol, Athanors, and the like.

It is unknown whether those of this Lineage achieved the New Dawn with their Progenitor or whether they crumbled to dust with its fall.
