Diane Little

Queen Diane Little, a Wizened Muse commonly known to London changelings as Lady Muse, was the queen of the London freehold during the end of the 16th century.

Overview

Following the ascension of the Blood Court to rulership in the freehold, London's changeling population was wracked by resentment, especially among the Snow Court. This state would persist for more than one hundred years, ending through Queen Diane Little's policies. Formerly the adviser to the previous ruler, King Nicholas the Red, Lady Muse managed to quell most unease in the freehold through the creation of a delicate balance of advisers from each Court.

Despite her great success and her known skill in commanding the attention of others, the queen had a wide range of detractors. The presentation of Titania in changelings' premiers of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, for example, is often noted as a deliberate mockery of Queen Diane.
