Edwin Teesdale
Edwin Teesdale was the son of James Teesdale and Elizabeth Shepherd. He, his mother, and his unnamed sister were the only two members of the family to survive the burning of the Teesdale mansion in 1714. Unlike his brothers and father, Edwin Teesdale was of a religious bent: specifically, he attended a Methodist congregation.
