Enochian Sarcophagus
For the Sarcophagus described in Beckett's Jyhad Diary, see Enosch Sarcophagus.
The Enochian Sarcophagus is a strange and ancient stone coffin, that calls elder vampires to it during their dreams.
History
The Sarcophagus was discovered in the year 2000, and has resisted any attempts to open it since, though the Special Affairs Division has held it since c. 2007.
Despite being kept locked in a vault in West Virginia, the Sarcophagus exerts its influence amongst elder vampires, especially Ventrue, sending them dreams and whispers that promise power. This call however can be muted, through the Al-Farabi process, commonly used by the Tremere and Setites, but even this countermeasure erodes over time.[1]
Speculation
- This may be the same Sarcophagus mentioned in Beckett's Jyhad Diary.[2]
