Frances Black

Frances Black, Childe of Doe,[1] is a vampire aware of more bizarre creatures out in the World of Darkness. She is the protagonist of Shadows in the Dark: Mekhet.

Overview

Black generally distinguished a dichotomy in herself — Real Living Frances, with whom she connected through activities she remembered in life[2] (what little she could remember, given the persistent amnesia that clouded certain parts of her past)[3], and the hungry doll, her vampiric self which constantly hungered.[2]

At some point, she began tracking a model named Lilli as a potential target for feeding.[4] On entering her home, though, she found her being fed upon by one of the Formosae. She promptly walked back out.[5]

Abilities

Black is a Mekhet. She has the capacity to make herself invisible[6] and has a tendency to, at times, describe the people around her via color.[3]
