Brock Heinz
World of Darkness Character
Officer Brock Heinz was an LAPD officer assigned to keep watch on the aft section of the NZ Elizabeth Dane after it had been towed into port.
He had a contact at the L.A. Sun -- an editor named Jacobson -- and allowed Jacobson to send a reporter onto the ship to investigate the carnage in exchange for "double my usual fee." He was able to procure the police report, pull Officer D. Marsh out of the security room with false orders to report to the bridge, and distract Officer Anderson with sightings of a baleen whale.
Heinz, under the nickname "Dry Hands" Heinz, was also a participant in Don't Touch the Butter!, an "extreme sport" advertised for sale on DVD.

Background Information
- Heinz is probably named after Brock Heinz, Bloodlines' Lead Scripter.
- Likewise, his compatriots Office Marsh and Officer Anderson are likely named for David Marsh and Jason Anderson. Jacobson may be named after Scott Jacobson.
- Heinz rhetorically asks "What kind of Woodstein don't think to at least show dressed up like an investigator?" Woodstein is a common portmanteau of Watergate investigators Woodward and Bernstein.
- Heinz follows up with "Didn't you ever see Fletch?" Fletch is a 1985 neo-noir comedy thriller starring Chevy Chase as LA Times investigative reporter Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher, who invokes a number of disguises in pursuit of his story.
