Chapter One: Flickering Candles
This first section provides a general overview of the setting, including the history of the hunt, the kinds of hunters you can play, and the usual three-tier gameplay.
Chapter Two: Compacts and Conspiracies
The second chapter provides information on various Hunter organizations, including example Compacts and Conspiracies and their histories.
Chapter Three: Character Creation
This chapter provides the rules needed to create a Hunter.
Chapter Four: Rules of the Hunt
This section details the rules for gameplay, including investigation, teamwork, Tactics, and the like.
Chapter Five: Monsters Around the World
Chapter five offers sample monsters for use in games, along with their habitats, origins and powers. Rules for creating monsters are included.
Chapter Six: Mysterious Places
This chapter looks further into the setting, introducing various supernaturally-tainted locations and a number of locations that are, themselves, monsters.
Chapter Seven: The Slasher Chronicle
The seventh chapter is a sample chronicle built from the slasher movie genre. It includes Slasher-specific content and approaches for play at all tiers.
Chapter Eight: Storytelling
The final chapter provides help for Storytellers in running a chronicle, as well as fleshing out rules for Storyteller characters and for creating Compacts and Conspiracies.
Appendices
The appendices list Equipment, Conditions, and Tilts likely to become relevant over the course of play.
Background Information
On January 30th, 2020, it was announced by Onyx Path Publishing that a Kickstarter funding campaign for the game would launch on February 6th, 2020.[1]
The Kickstarter launched that day, and was funded within hours.[2]
