This is a set of heavy leather armor. Heavy leather armor has an armor rating of 4, but hinders movement, resulting in a -2 penalty to Dexterity. Some examples of heavy leather armor are studded or reinforced leather jackets, girded leather pants, and hard leather gloves and boots.

Heavy Leather provides an Armor rating of 3, and a -1 penalty to Dexterity, despite the description.
