  • The Honorable Sir Anthony Wainwright sends a message (presumably to other Conventions) regarding the Difference Engineers and their certainty that within 30 years a new technology will appear and be installed in every home.^[1]

• 1888
  • Because he missed yet another Arcanum meeting, a representative is sent to Reverend Jebidiah Specter Brown's residence at St. Basil's, only to find Brown had moved out the week previous. The conclusion drawn is that Brown was simply using the Arcanum for his own purposes and has now proceeded to the next part of his plan.^[2]

• 1989
  • Andrew Greene checks references to Dr. Charles Reid and is surprised to find he's the author of several hundred articles, a few of which are about G proteins.^[3]

• 1996
  • Master Porthos Fitz-Empress sends a message to Deacon Caeron Mustai informing him that if his feeble, ailing mind can figure out who the horrible traitor is inside the Order of Hermes, he will no doubt utterly destroy him.^[4]

  • Andrew Pennyworth of British Power puts out a press release on how BP is seeking out alternative forms of energy, such as solar power and geothermal power. He even goes so far as to claim Britain will have viable fusion energy, something Project Utopia has been unable to provide.^[5]
