Lewis Gently
Father Lewis Gently is a larval, formerly a priest, who turned to the sin of lust, taking a demon within him in the process.

In his early life, Gently was a lustful youth, who, as he grew older, fretted over the state of his soul, due to his sinful life. He cleaned up his act and became a priest, eventually becoming the head of a parish. His youth would come back to haunt him, however, as he became tempted by those whom he counselled. As he broke his vow of celibacy, he became possessed by a demon of lust.
Gently would spiral into depravity up until one of his lovers came to learn the truth and dragged the bishop of Gently's diocese in to perform an exorcism. His body too weakened to survive the ritual, the priest died, spitting in the face of the bishop's offer of repentance and last rites.
Now a ghost, Lewis Gently began haunting his former rectory, now burned to the ground. He made a Pact with a local drug dealer, Paulo, to write a Testament for him, something left undone when Paulo died in a drive-by shooting. Gently currently seeks a new pawn to finish the work, as its completion will enable him to merge with his demon and end his time as a larval.

- The Name of the Father: Any who enter the rectory and speak the name "Father Lewis Gently" three times aloud is rewarded with the sensation of being watched. Father Gently can then spend Essence to make the sound of his voice heard anywhere in the rectory for the rest of the scene.
