Luis de Estes

Luis de Estes was the Solificati representative of the Council of Nine Mystic Traditions.

Overview

Nothing is known about de Estes' early life. Solificati leaders traditionally adopted the name "Luis" in honor of their founder, Luis Tristan de Varre.[1] De Estes is credited with ending the Lodge Wars of Tuscany by reconstituting the Solificati in 1445, over a century after their defection from the Order of Reason drove them underground.[2]

De Estes was invited to the Second Mistridge Tribunal by Valoran and Baldric LaSalle, and in turned introduced the other two Primi to Wu Jin, a Master of the Akashic Brotherhood with whom de Estes was acquainted.[3] The Solificati took the Seat of Matter on the resulting Council, with de Estes as Primus.[4]

After the Great Betrayal, the Solificati were torn apart by internal conflict, and in 1471 de Estes was assassinated by a member of his own Tradition.[5]
