- Central Control sends a message to the Men in Black, notifying them that Alan Turing has refused to stop his research into virtual reality, so he is to be terminated with extreme prejudice. Any electronic devices on his person are to be destroyed and the parts brought back for examination. No witnesses.[1]

- An employee of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power notes in his weekly log that both teams have uncovered nothing in their sweeps, except for one individual (probably drunk) who reported something he could only describe as whispers in section 476.[2]
