Notes

• ^  The Chorus' day of mourning, meant to respect the death of the "sacred paradigm," was meant to fall on the anniversary of the Declaration of the Ivory Tower. However, the Declaration happened on March 25, as acknowledged elsewhere in the same book. It's possible the mourning is a fortnight-long affair, or perhaps the day is held early for expediency or for political reasons, Choristers being typically too busy with other matters by the 25th.
