Neglatu
The Neglatu are a cross-clan bloodline of vampires who first arose as revenants. They form tight-knit groups among themselves, but are often unaware of larger Kindred society.
Material on this bloodline was cut from Blood and Smoke: The Strix Chronicle but later posted to Onyx Path's blog by developer Rose Bailey.
Background
The Neglatu claim they uplifted themselves from revenants to true vampires, though other Kindred are skeptical of this claim. When feeding, a Neglatu has an unusually high chance of creating a revenant, and often dwells with a whole brood of them for protections and companionship. These revenants, when sleeping near their progenitor, are able to retain some Vitae during the day (up to the Blood Potency of the Neglatu) and thus are less burdened by hunger than the rest of their kind.
Neglatu happily adopt outside revenants into their communities. When the brood becomes too large, the Neglatu uplifts one of the revenants into the bloodline so that a new brood can hive off from the old one.
Powers and Abilities
Bloodline Bane
Neglatu retain the weaknesses of their parent Clan. In addition, they cannot form a blood bond; the loyalty of their revenants and childer must be secured in other ways.
Agah
The Neglatu bloodline gift is called Agah, "The Crown." In addition to allowing revenants to retain Vitae overday, the Neglatu can easily uplift a revenant as long as she inducts him into the bloodline. Neglatu can also boost the physical abilities of their broods.
