Notary

The Notary is a changeling kith specializing in pledges.

Overview

The True Fae would often use these changelings as living documents, scrawling oaths in blood across their skin. Many Notaries escaped Arcadia by exploiting loopholes in the oaths that bound them and walking right out the door.

More than most, True Fae will doggedly pursue those of this kith, for lost pledges can present a grave threat. As such, some freeholds refuse to house them at all. Those who do, however, will use them as viziers, lawyers, and mediators.

Kith Blessing

Passive Blessing: Notaries excel in using Politics to work with fae pledges.

Abatement: At times, this kith can render unnecessary the use of Glamour when instituting a pledge. The Notary will perfectly remember the vagaries of such pledges.
