Relic Flash

The Relic Flash is one of three primary relic inventory items possessed by Ed Miller. Like the Relic Camera, it previously belonged to his father. It is acquired from the dark room down the hall to the right of the doors to the garden.

  • Your father's old camera flash, here in the Shadowlands?

The Flash could either be toggled on and of to be used as a flashlight (which could also remove some of the rot around the Barclay Mansion), or the trigger could be held to produce a flash, which could temporarily disorient the spectres inhabiting the mansion. As a relic, however, both uses consumed Pathos.

Background Information

  • The back of the model for the relic flash, beneath where the Pathos display normally sits, is a serial number for the flash: 20200612. This is probably meant to represent a date, June 12, 2020. The significance of this date is not known at this time.
